A wonderful pair of antique McCoy pottery bowls in the collectible Asparagus pattern, dating to the early 20th century. Molded asparagus spears encircle the exterior of each bowl beneath a simple banded rim, all finished in a beautifully aged green glaze.
The graduated pair displays especially well together, with lovely glaze variation, crazing and the character that makes early McCoy pottery so appealing.
Unmarked. Antique condition with overall crazing, glaze variation and expected signs of age and use. The larger bowl has an area of chipping/glaze loss along the rim, as shown in photographs.
