Augustus Osborne Lamplough Egyptian Landscape Watercolor

An atmospheric original watercolor by British artist Augustus Osborne Lamplough (1877–1930), known for his evocative views of Egypt, the Nile and North Africa.

Rendered in a soft palette of blue, lavender and warm desert tones, the panoramic composition depicts an Egyptian landscape with distant architecture, palms and water. Signed by the artist and presented under glass in an aged gilt frame with decorative relief detailing.

Accompanied by a 1997 British fine-art conservation receipt from Ronald K. Moore, B.A. (Hons.), Courtauld Institute of Art, London University, identifying the work as a Lamplough watercolor, “Egypt.” The receipt remains preserved on the reverse.

Beautiful age and patina throughout the original presentation, with condition consistent with age.
