Details
A substantial oak buffet, circa 1880, richly carved with hanging game, fruit garlands, foliage and animal heads. Its unusually open center lends lightness to the grand proportions, while cupboards at either end conceal fitted cutlery drawers and a zinc-lined compartment for ice and bottles. Mellow oak and sculptural detail give this piece a commanding country house presence. Sourced in England and attributed to southern Belgium, possibly France.
Dimensions: 99″ wide × 37½″ high × 29″ deep
