English Rose Ironstone Pitcher

A softly proportioned ironstone pitcher decorated with a Victorian rose transfer in crisp black linework and subtle blush-pink accents. The rounded body and pedestal foot give it a grounded, sculptural presence, while traces of a once-gilded rim speak to its age and use.

Unmarked, as is common for late 19th-century English utilitarian wares, with a hand-written pattern number “1085” to the base. Light surface crazing throughout, consistent with age. A timeless decorative piece—beautiful styled on open shelving, a sideboard, or as a vessel for dried stems.
