Charming pair of petite 19th-century French hand-colored garden prints titled L’Orangerie and Reine des Fleurs.

Each depicts an elaborate formal garden with fountains, promenades and tiny figures, delicately colored in soft blue and muted greens. Especially lovely are the beautifully aged ivory mats with delicate hand-ruled borders.

Presented under glass with wonderful age throughout, including scattered foxing and toning consistent with age.
