Hand-Thrown Redware Pineapple Pitcher

A striking hand-thrown redware pitcher with an intricately worked pineapple surface and rich glaze shifting from deep green to warm amber brown. The wheel-thrown body is finished with an applied handle and pronounced pouring spout, with wonderful irregularities throughout that reveal its handmade construction.

Unmarked and sourced in Pennsylvania; believed to be Pennsylvania-made. Good vintage condition with a small chip/glaze loss near the handle and minor surface wear.

Dimensions: 8.5" H × 9" W handle to spout × 4.5" diameter opening
