A classic English black felt bowler hat by renowned British hat maker Lincoln Bennett, bearing the interior royal warrant “By Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.” Originally retailed by C. Westwood & Sons, Hatters & Hosiers of Grays, England.
Dating to approximately the 1950s, the hat retains its original black grosgrain ribbon, leather sweatband and cream satin lining.
A wonderful decorative English piece with plenty of character.
Vintage condition with considerable age-related wear, including a long split to the brim, deterioration to the interior sweatband and staining and wear to the lining. Please see photographs for condition.
