Wheat Sheaf Brass Letter Clip

This is a Victorian spring-loaded cast brass desk letter clip modeled in high relief as a tied sheaf of wheat with trailing stalks and an acorn finial. The clip rests on a shaped metal base plate featuring an integrated hanging aperture. The raised design catches the light against its deep, aged patina—a charming piece for holding handwritten letters, a favourite photograph or a few notes on a writing desk.
